At Jonathan Louis, we design, craft and construct our furniture for you to enjoy and admire for years to come. For us, fashion begins with inspiration and a strong foundation.
Our furniture is made of mostly hardwoods. A variety of other wood species are used in non-stress areas. To prevent the frame from warping, splitting or cracking over time, stress joints are reinforced with corner blocks, wood glue, and high-pressure stapling. Dacron polyester padding throughout prevents the upholstery fabric from coming into direct contact with the wooded frame.
No-sag seat suspension features heavy gauge sinuous steel wire. Springs are evenly spaced 4" apart to provide added stability and uniform comfort. We offer a variety of seating alternatives, each designed to provide the perfect balance of comfort and look for a specific style. All of our cushions are made with High-Resiliency Foam and are completely reversible. Each is structured to compliment specific styles.
Our standard seating features High-Resiliency Foam core wrapped on both sides with a 1" layer of polyester.
Channeled Blown Fiber Seating:
Features High-Resiliency Foam core encased in a bag filled with blown polyester fiber and channeled to keep the fiber from shifting. Made to emulate a relaxed feather and down seat.
Super Plush Seating:
Features High-Resiliency Super Soft Foam core encased in a bag filled with blown polyester fiber and channeled to keep the fiber from shifting. The Super Soft Foam core is thicker than all of our seating and is the ultimate in sink-in comfort.
High-Resiliency Foam core with a 1'' layer of Convoluted Memory Foam encased in a bag filled with blown polyester fiber and channeled to keep the fiber from shifting. The layer of Convoluted Memory Foam adds to the comfort while giving a more tailored look to the cushions.
Feather Blend Seating:
